It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zulema Vargas of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Flores and Isabel Flores; her husband Jesus Vargas; and her siblings, Delia, David, Alfredo and Dora.
She is survived by: her children, Jose Edwardo Vargas (Melissa), Rosa Maria Vargas Cantu and Maria Zulema Vargas Castillo (Juan); and her brother Mario Flores. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance.
