He was predeceased by: his son Rene Ricardo Sotuyo (Melinda). He is survived by: his wife Irma Sotuyo; his sons, Thomas Sotuyo Jr. (Barbara) and David Sotuyo Sr. (Lola); and his grandchildren, Ricky Sotuyo Jr., Tommy Sotuyo III (Katie), David Sotuyo Jr. (Kandice), Daniel Sotuyo (Alexis), Isaac Sotuyo, Samuel Sotuyo, Elizabeth Reyna and Edna Gonzalez. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
