He was predeceased by: his parents, W. W. Gearhart and Goldie Gearhart. He is survived by: his wife Dorris; his sons, Troy (Rebecca) and Stuart (Emily); his grandchildren, Derrick, Parker Gearhart, Addyson and William Stocker; and his sisters, Phyllis Tumlinson (H. L.) and Marcene Conine (Randy). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
