With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susana M Martinez (McAllen, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Antonio, Martina, Guadalupe, Elodia, Martha, Martín and José; her daughter Erica; and her grandson Rogelio Cavazos II (Baby Roy).
She is survived by: her sister Hilda Martinez; her children, Juanita G. Vielma (Andy), Diana L. Mata (Israel), Rogelio M. Cavazos (Nora), Eduardo Rodriguez (Kayla) and Oscar O. Rodriguez; her children-in-law, Susie Blake, Veronica Lopez and Jason Michael Blake; her grandchildren, Juan Pablo Vielma, Antonio José Vielma, Kassandra Marie Salazar (Sergio), Michael Cavazos, Angélica María Vielma, Ana Guadalupe Vielma, Francisco Miguel Vielma, Teresa Faustina Vielma, Cody Lee Raleigh, Travis Rodriguez, Elizabeth Anne Rodriguez and Emily Grace Rodriguez; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Levi, Hailey Nicole and Tyler Naveen Salazar.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mcallen Funeral Home (512 S 12th St, McAllen, TX 78501). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
