It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Curtis Darby of McAllen, Texas, born in Gowen, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Darby and Leonard Darby; his siblings, Ervin Darby, Alice Dunn and Norma Neff; and his son David Darby.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Darby; his daughters, Manon (Tommy Joe Carico), Marline (Michael Hunt) and Roiline (Lisa Carlow); his grandchildren, Kera, Brandy Britten, Justen Gray, Joseph, Ashley Gray, Lacey Britten, Zachary Gray, Kyla, Lance Sessums, Jerry Barber, Cooper Darby and Liberty Darby; and his sisters, Kathleen Lowe, Loretta Knapp, Imogene Peck, Connie Owen, Bonnie Rider and Delores Anderson. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and one on the way; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
