It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Cavazos Delgado of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosa Cavazos Delgado to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente Cavazos and Rosa Salinas Cavazos (Luis E. Delgado); and her siblings, Henry Cavazos, Emma Cavazos, Vicente "Mickey" Cavazos, Elida Olivarez, Heriberto "Eddie" Cavazos, Eva Flamer, Elva Garcia and Stella Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Norma D. Fleming (William C. Fleming) and Sylvia Johns (William D. Johns); her grandchildren, Christopher Johns, Elizabeth Fleming and Victoria Fleming; and her siblings, Esperanza "Hope" Bazan and Hector Cavazos (Lucy). She is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (306 S 15th St, McAllen, TX 78501). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the La Piedad Cemetery (1801 Wichita Ave, McAllen, TX 78503).
