He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy (Hunter); his brother Craig; his son-in-law Earnest Madril; and his mother-in-law Elsie Moran. He is survived by: his wife Clarice; his children, Jeremiah, Jacob (Jessica), Consuelo Madril and Krystal Newton (John); his sisters, Jerry Dodd, Carol Jones and Connie Coleman; and his sisters-in-law, Georgiana Moran and Trish Jones.
