He is survived by: his mother Josefina Melhem Ortiz; his wife Martha Morales; his daughters, Yamile Alejandra Ortiz and Dominik Ortiz; and his siblings, Carlos Ortiz, Claudeth Ortiz, Odetth Ortiz and Yaneth Ortiz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
