We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2021, at the age of 80, Raquel Garcia Olabarrieta of McAllen, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marcelo Olabarrieta; her son Anthony Marcelo Olabarrieta; her parents, Maria O. Rodriguez and Cayetano Garcia; and her brother Jose Cayetano Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Olabarieta (Alicia) of McAllen, Anaid Ochoa (Tammy) of San Juan, Aaron Paul Olabarrieta of McAllen and Timothy Olabarrieta of McAllen; and her siblings, Rebecca Rodriguez, Olga Heredia and Roberto Garcia (Guille). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance.
