He was predeceased by: his parents, Monico Barreiro and Estefana Barreiro; his wife Sylvia Loza; and his brother Gilberto. He is survived by: his sons, Ruben L. Barreiro (Yolanda), Roel Barreiro and Roberto L. Barreiro; and his siblings, Alfredo Barreiro (Marta), Guadalupe Barreiro (Rogelio Reyes), Monico Barreiro (Minerva), Sylvia Barreiro (George Villarreal), George Barreiro (Elizabeth), Eliamar Barreiro and Veronica Barreiro. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
