He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rafael Villa and Fredesvinda Garcia Villa; his wife Norma Villa; and his children, Rafael Villa Jr., Karely Villa, Damarys Martinez and Kevin Wing. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
