He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tomasa Garza and Rafael Garza; his wife Maria Teresa (Mexico); and his children, Maria Reynolds-Diaz "Chacha", Patsy Vela (Efraim), Elena Black (Chris), Rafael Garza (Liz) and Laura Lewis (Brian). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
