He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Ochoa and Antonia Garza; his grandson Aiden Thomas Ochoa; and his brothers, Reynaldo and Laureano Ochoa.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Degollado Ochoa; his children, Rafael Ochoa, Jr. (Gisela), Efraim Ochoa (Marisela) and Alexus Aaron Ochoa; his grandchildren, Rafael Javier, Nathan Ryan, Victoria Renee, Ian Marcus, Faith Lauryn, Hope Isabella and Jacob Andrew; and his sisters, Paula, Aurora, Aurelia, Martha and Eva. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
