He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Salas and Josefa Sotelo Salas; his siblings, Felix Salas and Maria M. Ortiz; and his son Juan "Joey" Jose Salas.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Salas; his children, Jessica Prieto (Joe) and Lucas Martinez-Salas (Mannie); and his siblings, Esiquio "Chico" Salas (Lisa), Quirino Salas, Martin Salas, Roberto Salas (Aleyda), Isidra "Chila" Garcia, Juana Fonseca, Asuncion Salas, Ignacia Salas and Eloisa Guerrero (Javier). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many lifetime friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance.
