With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minerva Alma Alvarado in McAllen, Texas, born in Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nieves Padron and Lydia Padron; her siblings, Blanca Estella Landes and Mario Nieves Padron; and her father-in-law Doroteo Mario Alvarado.
She is survived by: her husband Mario A. Alvarado; her children, Roberto "Bobby" Zuniga, Jr. (Stacy), Marisa Alvarado Cook (J. Aaron) and Marina Annette Alvarado; her grandchildren, Joshua Zuniga, Christian Cook and Siena Cook; her brother Jose Antonio "Tony" Padron; and her mother-in-law Juanita P. Alvarado.
