He is survived by: his children, Lysa Bluhm (Tom) of Rock Falls and Todd Smith (Lori) of Sterling; his brother Henry Smith (Paz) of Port Orchard, WA; his grandchildren, Stephanie Richards (David) of Sterling, Mellysa Devine (Tyler) of Rock Falls, Brock Smith of Chicago and Bryce Smith of Chicago; and his great grandchildren, Norah, Anna, Corwin, Conner and Collin.
