It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Solis of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donato Solis and Maria Ignacia Solis (Bazan); his wife Juana Solis (Borrego); and his sons, Martin Solis Jr. and Juan Antonio Solis.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Ignacias Garcia, Donato Solis, Ismelda S. Hinojosa, Carolina Hinton, Diana Cardenas, Jaime Solis, Juanita Bruce and Guadalupe Anabel Solis; and his siblings, Leocadea Solis, Mercedes Solis, Cesaria Solis, Isidro Solis, Juan Solis, Rogelio Solis and Raul Solis. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and eight great-grand-children.
