He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Mendez and Guadalupe Mendez (Olivarez). He is survived by: his former wife Ida Mendez; his siblings, Julia M. Villarreal, Alicia M. Fuentes, Angelina M. Cruz and Roberto Mendez; his wife Rosa Linda Mendez; his sons, David I. Rodriguez (Jayney) and Roy M. Mendez; his grandchildren, Alyssa M. Rodriguez and Kyle Martin Rodriguez; his brother Guadalupe Mendez (Guadalupe); and his parents-in-law, Pablo Pedraza, Luz Pedraza, Arturo Pedraza, Rojelio Pedraza, Raul Pedraza (Noemi), Raquel Briggs (Ken) and Dora Ulrich.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance.
