It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha R. Tijerina of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Abelardo Tijerina Jr.; her parents, Jose Rodriguez and Dora Rodriguez; her sisters, Mercedes and Ester; and her nephew Johnny Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Tijerina and Marisa Gonzalez (Amador); her grandchildren, Teresa, Joshua and Jacob Gonzalez; and her brothers, Rolando and Roberto Rodriguez (Sally).
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. (314 N 10th St, McAllen, TX 78501). Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Gardens (3605 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78501).
