She was predeceased by: her parents, Idelfonso Solis and Edelmira Solis; her husband Andres Vela, Sr.; and her children, Maria Cuellar, Francisca Garcia, Angelita Sandoval, Abram Vela and Armando Vela.
She is survived by: her children, Ramona Garza (Ruben), San Juana "Janie" Rivera (Rogelio) and Andres "Andy" Vela, Jr. (Enriqueta). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
