With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Barrera of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on May 16, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eusebio Aguilar and Josefina Aguilar (Cisneros). She is survived by: her husband Juan R. Barrera Sr.; her children, Juan Roberto Barrera Jr. (Cindy) and Veronica Contreras (Martin); and her brothers, Eduardo Aguilar and Johnny Aguilar. She is also survived by Six grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance.
