She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Montalvo, Jr. and Antonia Vera Montalvo; and her siblings, Eloy, Raul Montalvo and Alicia M. Dreumont.
She is survived by: her sons, Cesar Alaniz (Sylvia), David Alaniz (Melisa), Luis Alaniz (Sandra), Omar Alaniz (Evita) and Frank Alaniz (Becky); her siblings-in-law, Irma Pena, Gracie Alaniz and Beto Montalvo; her grandchildren, Cesar J. Alaniz, Jr. (Angela), Dr. Veronica Alaniz Acker (Aaron), Analicia Laura Alaniz, Marcelino Luis Alaniz, Maya Rose Alaniz, Mark Morales (Echo), Kendra Alaniz, Ava Grace Alaniz and Thomas Romeo Alaniz; and her great grandchildren, Sebastien Izayah Alaniz, Adonis Jeremiah Alaniz, George Romeo Alaniz and Isabel Marie Alaniz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
