He is survived by: his wife Blanca Garate of Saenz; and his children, Patricia Saenz, Manuel Carlos Saenz, Virginia Saenz, Blanca Margarita Saenz, Irma Lucila Saenz and Maricela Saenz. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
