It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Cantu of McAllen, Texas, born in Mission, Texas, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Presentación Cantu and Armandina Cantu; and his sister-in-law Yoli Gamez. He is survived by: his children, Savanah Cantu Ponce (Saul) and Preston Cantu (Samantha Sanchez); the mother of his children Janice Linn Cantu; his grandsons, Bryan, Saul and Jose Ponce; and his siblings, Miguel Gamez, Diane Gamez Ball (Bryan), Sheila Cantu Almanza (Hector) and Teri Cantu Puente (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
