She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Garza and Marcela De La Garza; and her son Roberto "Robby" Peña. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Rodolfo "Rudy" Peña, Jr. (Elise Lacasse) and Ricardo "Ric" Peña (Melissa Y. Martinez); the father of her children Rodolfo "Rudy" Peña Sr.; her grandchildren, Colin and Ariel Peña; and her siblings, Victor De La Garza, Jr. (Mary Nell), Irma Cavazos (Jose F.), Sylvia Crowder, Aida Flores (Onesimo) and Carmen Tamez (Daniel). She is also survived by her sons, grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
