He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Tijerina and Cruz Tijerina; and his brother Tomas Tijerina. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah; his children, Samantha Abiro (Gabriel) and Bubba Tijerina (Jess); his grandchildren, Gabriel Abiro, Jr. and Grace Abiro; his siblings, Trina Cameron (Gene), Cruz Tijerina (Sonya), Renee Martin, Jaime Tijerina (Diane) and Letty Tijerina; and his close friend Pat Alejandro.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2201 Martin Ave, McAllen, TX 78504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Cemetery (1201 S Main St, McAllen, TX 78501).
