He was predeceased by: his parents, Lino Mendiola, Sr. and Mary Luisa Guerra Mendiola; and his daughter Laura Mendiola Stommen. He is survived by: his wife Connie DiCarlo Mendiola; his children, Lino Mendiola III (Hesper), Lisa Price and Lily Bain (Jonathan); and his siblings, Steve Mendiola and Mary Lou Lopez. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (5601 N 29th St, McAllen, TX 78504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
