He is survived by: his wife Estela Salinas of McAllen; his children, Victor Salinas, Estela Gomez (Juan) of McAllen and Liza Mire (Matthew) of Weslaco; his grandchildren, Laura Gomez, Alicia Gomez, Klarissa Gomez, Andrea Estela Gomez and Faith Anne Mire; and his siblings, Inez Gonzalez of McAllen, Petra Montemayor of McAllen, Martha Salinas of McAllen, Elena Gomez of McAllen, Hilda Garza of San Antonio, Victor Salinas Jr. of Edinburg and Francisca Villarreal of Pharr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
