She was predeceased by: her parents, George Erickson and Catherine Erickson; her husband Simm A Powell; and her siblings, Mary Erickson, Madolyn Martin, Louise Ferrante, George Erickson and Dennis Erickson.
She is survived by: her children, Simm Powell (Robin) and Terra Van Gorkom (Jim); her grandchildren, Kelsey Hahn (Henry), James Van Gorkom, Simm Powell III and Edward Powell; her great grandchildren, Audrey and Henry Hahn; and her siblings, Lilliam Horstmann, Patricia Woods, Tom Erickson (Aurelia), Bryan Erickson (Beverly), Rose Baldassano (Tony) and Vince Erickson (Elaine). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
