He was predeceased by: his parents, Ildefonso Guerra Sr. and Maria M. Guerra; and his wife Bertha Alicia Guerra. He is survived by: his daughter Dalila Garcia; his niece Krystal Herrera; his children, Mariana Guerra, Jorge Lauro Guerra and Jake Guerra; and his brother Ildefonso Guerra Jr. (Maria Luisa). He is also survived by three other sons, several grandchildren.
