We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Joe M. Cardenas in McAllen, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Jesus Cárdenas and Maria Cavazos-Cárdenas; and his sister Bertha Guerra. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Nellie Arce-Cárdenas of Roma, TX; his sons, Salvador Javier and Eduardo Jose; his daughter-in-law Courtney Cheveraux-Cárdenas; his grandchildren, Caroline, Margaux and Jack Cárdenas; his sisters, Alicia, Mary Cuellar (Luis) and Teresa Garza (Josef); and his siblings-in-law, A. A. Guerra, Annabella Arce (Rene Cantu) and Laura Saenz (Enrique). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (alz.org) or the Alfredo Gonzalez Texas State Veterans Home.
