She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Julian and Mary Dorothy Julian; her husband Earl Massie, Jr.; her grandson Ashton Massie; her stepson Christopher Crabtree; and her daughter Bridget Massie.

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Contreras (Xavier) of McAllen and Britt Massie of Edinburg; her grandchildren, Braden Contreras (Loren), Tailynn Contreras (DJ), Aiden Massie, Ashlynn Massie, Addison Massie and Jason Bentley; and her great grandchildren, Araeley Martinez and David Martinez.
