With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Javier G. Hinojosa (McAllen, Texas), born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on February 4, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Hinojosa and Manuela Hinojosa; and his sister Moraima Adame (Jose). He is survived by: his wife Terri Lynn Hinojosa; his children, Kimberly Lynn Hinojosa Trejo (Nathan), Tony Hinojosa (Stacy), Tammy McNamara and Bryan Hinojosa; his stepson Robert Geer (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Ayla Lynn Trejo, Elora Lynn Trejo, Ikaiya Lynn Trejo, Nikki Geer and Kaylee Geer; and his siblings, Maria Isidora Hinojosa Garza (Dora), Oscar William Hinojosa (Yzelda), Omar Hinojosa (Maria) and Juan Jose Hinojosa (Catarina). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer's Association to help find a cure for this horrible disease that affects so many people every day.
