He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Zenz and Harriet Zenz; and his brother-in-law James Bruno Risatti. He is survived by: his wife Cornelia; his children, James L. Zenz, Jr. and Susanne Martinez (Carlos); his granddaughters, Ashlyn, Megan and Saylor Martinez; his brother George Zenz (Joyce); and his siblings-in-law, Howard Risatti (Christina) and Leslie Risatti. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
