He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvestre Barrera and Margarita Barrera; and his daughter Marisela Barrera. He is survived by: his wife Leonides Barrera; and his children, Victoria Barrera, Pedro Barrera, Silvestre Barrera, Norma Barrera, Mireya Barrera, Maria Guadalupe Barrera, Jacinto Barrera Jr. and Roberto Carlo Barrera. He is also survived by his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
