She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabino Viera and Elvira Viera; her husband Lawrence Bedinghaus; her children, Robert Cavazos and Ruth Mata; and her siblings, Juan Viera, Gabino Viera, David Viera, Samuel Viera, Jose Viera, Amelia Bernal, Dolores Moreno and Juanita Viera.
She is survived by: her former husband Ruben Y. Cavazos; her sisters, Lydia Vargas and Mary Viera of Corpus Christi, Texas; her sons, Ruben Cavazos (Diana) of McAllen, Texas and Rene Cavazos (Lori) of Frisco, Texas; her son-in-law JC Mata; her daughters, Rachel Stasny (Dan) of Sweet Home and Rosalie Reast (David) of Kerrville; her daughter-in-law Cris; and her stepsons, Lawrence O. Bedinghaus (Carolyn) of McGregor, Texas and Ronald L. Bedinghaus (Lolli) of Austin, Texas.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
