She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Cruz Ortega and Irene Rodriguez; her husband Venancio Juarez; her children, Arturo Juarez (Amada Juarez), Claudia Gonzalez (Carlos Gonzalez), Hilda Ortiz (Baldy Ortiz), San Juanita Juarez (Hugo Hernandez), Venancio Juarez (Belinda Juarez) and Anai Tobias; and her siblings, Federico Ortega Rodriguez, Maria Muñoz, Guillermina Ortega Rodriguez and Leonor Ortega Rodriguez. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home - McAllen (1901 Pecan Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the San Juan Diego Catholic Church (3408 Idela Ave, McAllen, TX 78503). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Piedad Cemetery (1801 Wichita Ave, McAllen, TX 78501).
