He was predeceased by: his parents, Heleodoro Sr. and Evangelina. He is survived by: his wife Myra; his children, Ivan and Emily; and his siblings, Eva Rendon (Romeo), Bridget Martinez and Joe Martinez (Ale). He is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews; ten great nieces and nephews; as well as numerous cousins, compadres, friends and former coworkers.
