She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Muñiz and Justina Garza Muñiz; and her siblings, Jose F. Muñiz (Lencho), Raul Muñiz, Domingo Muñiz, Josefa Arenas, Eloisa Salinas and Juanita Muñiz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
