It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guadalupe Ledesma Trevino of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Basilio Ledesma and Concepcion Ledesma; her spouse Ezequiel Trevino; her son Ezequiel Trevino Jr.; and her siblings, Luis Ledesma and Celina Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Gonzales, Rene Trevino, Oralia Wells, Brenda Torney and Rebecca Summerlin; her grandchildren, Craig A. Gonzales, Christopher Gonzales, Casandra Trevino, Michael Trevino, Paul Trevino, Jonathan Wanat, Frances Wells, Thomas Wells, Andrew Wells, Natalie Leverton, Caroline Cavazos, Rachel Miller, Eric Summerlin and Iain Summerlin; her great grandchildren, Lily Gonzales, Charlie Gonzales, Zoe Gonzales, Londyn Wanat, Remy Lloyd, Ezra Leverton, Robyn Leverton and Addison Miller; and her siblings, Basilio Ledesma Jr., Encarnacion Ledesma, Carlos Ledesma, Rosa Ramon, Carmen Saldana and Diana Anderson. She is also survived by her brother- and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“I will always have fond memories of my visits to San Antonio and her sewing room. Piggy stills sleeps with me every night, and I often think of how grateful I am that Tia Lupita gave him to me all those years ago. My condolences to all of my cousins and their families. My prayers are with you all through this difficult time.”
