He was predeceased by: his parents, George Herbert Etz Sr. and Olivia Williams; and his wife Carolyn Cole Etz. He is survived by: his sons, George H. Etz III (Michele) and Benjamin Cole Etz (Diana Storrs); his grandson Lucas Cole Etz (Nancy Jo); his great grandchildren, Eleanora, Gideon, Josephine and Callahan; and his niece Jo Carol Harmon (Nolan).
