He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Mendiola and Grabiela Mendiola (Fuentes); and his children, Omar Mendiola and Beatrice Mendiola. He is survived by: his wife Mrs Elva B. Mendiola; and his great grandchild Jesus Ichiro Nino IV.
