He is survived by: his children, Belinda Elizalde (Marce) of Alamo, Felix Lara (Nora) of Alamo, Fernando Lara (Melissa) of Houston, Fidencio Lara (Martha) of Dallas, Fidel Lara (Deborah) of McAllen, Fabian Lara (Hilda) of McAllen and Fermin Lara (Araceli) of McAllen; his daughter-in-law Melinda Lara of San Juan; his siblings, Juanita Briones (Alonso) of McAllen, Rosa Mata of Edinburg and Abdon Lara (Romana) of Mission; and his sister-in-law Eloisa Lara of California. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
