He is survived by: his wife Antonia Briones (Hernandez); his children, Maria (Socorro Martinez), Florentino Briones, Jr. (Irma Briones), Virgilio Briones (Margarita Briones), Efy Belmont (Luis Belmont), María Cortez, Lina Briones, Lucy Briones (Daniel Reyes) and Alma Sarmiento (Oscar Sarmiento Jr); his brother Pedro Briones; his grandchildren, Henry Briones (Amanda), Alberto Javier Briones, Jasmine Briones, Luz María Garza (Erick Garza), Selene Briones, Crystal Briones, Pamela Cavazos (Eron Cavazos), Jackielynn Cortez (Jovany Gamboa), Jairo Briones, Haidi Reyes and Bethany Sarmiento; and his great grandchildren, Damian, Alexa, Brianna and Emilia.
