He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victorino Rios and Cesarea Rios; his children, Leticia (Martin), Ezequiel Rios Jr., Sergio Rios (Celia), Cesar Rios (Miroslava), Diamantina (Jose) and Jorge; and his siblings, Gertrudis Rios, Josefa Salinas, Victorino Rios and Diamantina Garcia. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
