It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esperanza Sanchez of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Casto Sanchez; her parents, Norberto Melendez and Hermelinda Melendez; and her siblings, Sixto Melendez, Norberto Melendez Jr., Julian Melendez, Alfredo Melendez, Raul Melendez and Matilde Melendez.
She is survived by: her children, Casto Sanchez Jr. (Donna Larson) and Delia Sanchez Mossman (Duane); her grandchildren, Nicole Blanco (Miguel) and Kyle Burton; her great grandchildren, Jayden Blanco, Eleyna Blanco, Brandon Blanco and Noah Blanco; and her siblings, Maria Elena Garza (Homero) and Guadalupe Macias.
