He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Rodriguez and Guadalupe Rodriguez of Raymondville; his brother Eloy Rodriguez of Harlingen; and his nephew Javier Gonzales of Raymondville. He is survived by: his son Ernesto Jr. (Ernie); his daughter-in-law Amy Rodriguez of McAllen; his grandchildren, Cecilia and Eric Rodriguez; his siblings, Elva Gonzales (Noe) of Raymondville, Emilia Williamson (Scott) of Corpus Christi and Enrique Rodriguez (Sara) of McAllen; and his brother-in-law Richard Guerra (Rebecca) of McAllen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.
