He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Esther and Encarnacion Fuentes, Sr.; and his brother Edgar A. Fuentes. He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Fuentes; his daughters, Leticia I. Fuentes and Sandra Cavazos (Roland); his grandchildren, Andres E. Garcia, Erin A. Cavazos, Jordan Cavazos, Julia Cavazos and Ethan Cavazos; and his great grandchildren, Harlow Cavazos and Sylas Cavazos.
