She is survived by: her children, Elsie Chapa De Leon, Gerardo Chapa Jr. (Elsa), Genevieve Chapa Zapata (Greg), Marco A Chapa (Virginia), Laura C Rodriguez (David), Anna Gonzalez (Rudy) and Daniel A Chapa; and her siblings, Bernice Flores, Irma Dillard and Dan Dillard. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. (314 N 10th St, McAllen, TX 78501). A rosary was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (620 N Dunlap Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Gardens (3605 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78501).
