She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruperto Garcia and Nazaria Garcia; her husband Antonio V. Gonzales; her son Antonio Gonzales, Jr.; and her siblings, Gloria Silva, Linda Lerma and Rupert Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Franco, Maria L. Salinas (Rolando), Silvia Velazquez (Santiago), Diana G. Craig, Dora G. Borrego (Ricardo), Alicia Gonzales and Ralph Gonzales; and her siblings, Irma Garcia, Yolanda Nerio, Dora A. Lopez, Arturo Garcia and Armando Garcia.
Elida enjoyed traveling with family, engaging in charity events, loved dancing, family gatherings and life itself.
